Generated libraries work seamlessly with Draw.io diagrams.
This tool converts your SVG files or raw SVG code into a custom Draw.io library. Once converted, you'll download a single .xml file ready to import into Draw.io (diagrams.net).
Choose one of two ways to add your SVGs:
All uploaded or pasted SVGs appear in a list with thumbnails. You can rename or remove files before generating the library.
Click the "Generate Draw.io Library" button. A downloadable .xml file will be created with all your SVGs.
Open Draw.io and go to File → Open Library from → Device. Select the downloaded file to start using your custom shapes. Need help? Follow this guide: https://svgtodraw.io/import.html.
Although both are used in diagramming, SVG and Draw.io serve completely different roles. Here's how they compare:

SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is an open standard for vector graphics. Unlike raster images, SVGs can be scaled to any size without losing quality. They are ideal for responsive icons, illustrations, UI elements, and logos.
Draw.io (also known as diagrams.net) is a free online diagram editor used by millions for building flowcharts, UML diagrams, system designs, and more. It's open source, works offline, and supports importing custom libraries.
Just upload or paste your SVGs into this app. It instantly transforms them into a downloadable .xml file, which you can import as a custom library in Draw.io. This makes it easy to reuse icons, shapes, or design systems in all your diagrams.
